Self-care
Self-care is an investment in yourself. Mental and physical health are important for leaders. While good health may or may not make a good leader, it does contribute to good brain function, sustained energy output, and being physically resilient.
Quite simply, self-care is not only necessary for your ongoing physical and emotional wellness, it helps you become a better leader. It's hard to be a strong, compassionate leader when you're running low on energy, motivation, and mood. And frankly your team members will often follow your lead.
I will introduce you to self-care practices and help you find what works best for you and your schedule. Self-care doesn’t have to be hours a day. If you have five minutes - even that will make a difference.
